This is such an awesome vlog. I also have “the voices” in my head. Or, rather one voice. I call her my Inner Monologue and freely admit that she’s a mouthy, obnoxious, self-centered bitch. She never shuts up. She’s why I blog – otherwise, I’m afraid she’d drive me mad. But like you, I only verbalize a fraction of what she’s actually saying.

Thank you so much! Actually – here’s how it went down…
1. I talk to myself all freaking day long so I thought – cool, I’ll do a vlog about talking to myself in my head.
2. During one day I took like twelve or so 30 second videos of myself just doing the shit I do everyday.
3. I put together about a six minute movie of every clip and watched it a few times and thought about what I might be thinking during that each clip – voiced over that dialog where it worked and cut the rest.
My goal is to never have a vlog longer than two minutes anymore. That is about all my attention span is lately.

I admit that I’ve been kind of “eh” about the whole vlog thing, but this, this is an example of doing it right, making it original, and adding serious entertainment value. Insert slow clap here.
Thank you. I know – here’s the thing…. how interesting is it to watch a bunch of moms talk about kids and stuff, right? I know I doze off watching myself. I think we need to make it creative to make it worth it – and if that means doing it once a month versus every week – so be it. Keep it fresh. Thank you for this.

This? Is amazing. I just laughed out loud and woke up the baby. Totally worth it. I think that being a stay at home mom has also increased my level if internal dialogue making me think I might be crazy. But now I know that it’s totally normal to ponder the differences in developmental milestones between my cat and my son. You are fabulous.
